Guercino pays homage to Giovanni Francesco Barbieri, the visionary master known as Guercino, whose artistry transformed movement and color into emotional poetry. Commissioned by noble courts and praised by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe for his moral grace and purity of brushwork, Guercino balanced grandeur with delicacy. This creation by Paolo Terenzi mirrors that brilliance—capturing light, depth, and elegance in a fragrance that feels both classical and daringly modern.
The composition opens with a vibrant citrus symphony of Amalfi Lemon, Reggio Calabria Bergamot, Scalea Cedar, Sicilian Bitter Orange, and Brazilian Orange, radiating clarity and energy. The heart unfolds with Dolomites Green Apple and Romagna Pear, enriched by Sardinian Heliotrope, Mexican Frangipane, and Persian Melon—evoking luminous hues and velvety textures. The base forms a bold contrast: smoky Jamaican Amyris and fresh Dolomite Silver Fir blend with Indian Patchouli, Ambergris, Musk, and Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, leaving a graceful yet seductively persistent trail.
