Cherry Ink explores the shadowed side of sweetness. Created by Lorenzo Pazzaglia, this extrait de parfum reimagines cherry in an unexpected, intellectual form—deep, inky, and almost tactile. It feels like poetry written at midnight, red wine staining paper, thoughts spilling freely without restraint. The fragrance is reflective yet provocative, balancing sensual indulgence with artistic darkness. It does not chase brightness; instead, it lingers in mystery, inviting you to lean closer.
The opening fuses ripe cherry and black cherry with sparkling bergamot and sharp black pepper, immediately warmed by a rich rhum accord. As it develops, red wine flows into Damask rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, and mimosa, layered with warm spices and a distinctive ink accord that adds an inky, metallic nuance. Myrrh deepens the heart with resinous warmth. The drydown is enveloping and opulent—vanilla berries and tonka bean melt into precious woods, patchouli, benzoin, amber, musk, and smoky agarwood (oud). The result is fruity yet shadowed, boozy yet elegant, with a dark amber trail that feels both intimate and unforgettable.
