Erwin Creed

Erwin Creed

Erwin Creed, the seventh-generation perfumer of the Creed dynasty, brings together heritage and exploration. Raised in Paris among the atelier of his father and tailors’ workshops, he was deeply influenced by the sensory world of raw materials. In his early twenties, he joined the family house and trained directly under master perfumers, especially Olivier Creed, rather than through formal education. He quickly became co-creator and co-supervisor of new fragrances.

Erwin’s style emphasizes unhurried artistry and careful sourcing—treating ingredients like vintners treat grapes. He travels globally to find rare, sustainable materials such as Calabrian bergamot and Indian jasmine. His fragrances are blended, macerated, and bottled by hand in Fontainebleau. Creations like Himalaya and Virgin Island Water are known for their refined storytelling and vibrant freshness, carrying the House of Creed’s historic craftsmanship into the modern world.
